Founding pricing

What it is

The first 100 stores that pay for a plan keep half off for as long as the subscription is active, including through later price changes. The plan is the same product as the full-price one: the same limits, the same history window, the same features. Only the price differs.

A founding place is claimed by the first payment, not by starting a trial, and it is held for as long as the subscription is active. If the subscription ends, the place returns to the cohort, and a store can take one again while the cohort is still open.

How to check us before you pay

Nothing here needs a paid plan to verify. Install on the free plan and let the first backup finish by itself. About ten minutes later you get a drill receipt: we read your backup back out of storage, decrypt it and compare a sample with your live store, then email you the result whether it passed or failed.

Then try a restore on something you do not mind touching: pick one product, look at the plan we build before anything is written, and apply it. If the result is not what you expected, undo it from the same screen. A backup you have never restored from is a promise; this takes an afternoon and turns it into a fact.

The plans

• Starter - $4.50/month instead of $9: up to 1,000 products, 30 days of version history.
• Growth - $9.50/month instead of $19: up to 10,000 products, 90 days of version history.
• Pro - $19.50/month instead of $39: no product limit, 365 days of version history.

There is also a free plan: 50 products, 7 days of history, and the same restore machinery. Billing runs through Shopify, so it appears on your Shopify invoice and cancels from your Shopify admin.

The honest part

The price is flat by store size and is not metered by order volume, so a busy month does not change the bill. Access to what is already backed up never depends on your plan: if you downgrade or stop paying, your stored copies stay readable and exportable. A backup that asks for money during an emergency is not a backup.

Uninstalling frees your seat while you are away: your store keeps its founding price if you come back and the cohort still has places left. Once all places are taken, we cannot hold one open for a store that left.
