As of 2 August 2026 their listing prices Essentials at $19/month "Up to 300 orders/month", Pro at $39/month "Up to 600 orders/month" and Plus at $79/month "Up to 1,500 orders/month", with a free Agency plan for development stores. They hold 4.8 stars across 109 reviews.

The shape is the one this category uses everywhere: the bill is chosen by how many orders you take, not by how much store there is to protect. StoreVault charges $9/month up to 1,000 products, $19/month up to 10,000 and $39/month with no product limit, and never looks at order volume at all.

Where BackupMaster is the better fit

Their entry plan advertises 365-day retention; ours gives 30 days at $9 and 90 at $19, with a year only on the $39 plan. If deep history at a low price is what you are optimising for, that is a real advantage and worth taking seriously.

They also list Google Drive sync and store duplication, which StoreVault does not do. If you clone stores for staging, that is theirs.

Where we differ

StoreVault reads its own backup back on a schedule and emails you the result - weekly on paid plans, monthly on free - so you have evidence before the bad day rather than hope. Every restore is planned first, shown record by record, and can be undone. A record you edited between the plan and the restore is skipped rather than overwritten.

What both of us do the same way

Everything is encrypted, everything is versioned, and neither of us can bring an order or a customer back into your store - Shopify's API does not allow it, whatever any backup app calls it. Ask that question of every option you are looking at.
