Billing, plans and what happens when you change them

Where the money runs

Through Shopify. StoreVault appears on your Shopify invoice, is approved by you on a Shopify page, and cancels from your Shopify admin. We never see a card, and nothing we do can charge you after you cancel.

What a plan actually sets

Two things: how many products are covered, and how far back the version history goes. $9/month up to 1,000 products with 30 days of history, $19/month up to 10,000 with 90 days, $39/month with no product limit and 365 days. The free plan covers 50 products with 7 days.

Order volume is not part of the calculation. A store doing 50 orders a month and one doing 50,000 pay the same if their catalogues are the same size - see how the alternative works if you are used to being billed by orders.

If your store outgrows its plan

Nothing already stored is touched. You get a warning, and after a grace period new snapshots pause - restoring stays available the whole time. A backup that asks for money during an emergency is not a backup, so access to what is already backed up never depends on your plan.

If you move to a smaller plan

The old history window stays for 30 more days, and the app shows the exact date the trim happens. At least one copy of every record is kept however old it is, so nothing disappears from your backup entirely - what shortens is how far back you can roll a record that changed since.

Export anything you want to keep before that date, or move back up: returning to a longer window cancels the trim.

Founding pricing

The first 100 stores on a paid plan keep half off for as long as the subscription runs. Once claimed, it is tied to the store permanently: it survives uninstalls, cancellations and coming back later. The counter on the pricing page is read from our database.

Cancelling

Settings, Apps and sales channels, StoreVault, cancel the subscription. Your backup stays readable on the free plan with its 7-day window, and everything already stored stays exportable. Cancelling is not an erasure request and we do not treat it as one - if you also want the data gone, see deleting your data.
