As of 2 August 2026 their listing prices Starter at $6.99/month with "200 products & 300 orders/month" and two months of history, Growth at $19.99/month with "750 products & 600 orders/month" and six months, and Pro at $49.99/month with "2,000 products & 1,000 orders/month" and a year, plus a free plan at 50 products. They hold 4.8 stars across 14 reviews.

Three ceilings at once: products, orders and history. StoreVault counts products only, and its top plan has no product ceiling at all - $39/month covers a 200,000-product catalogue the same as a 20,000-product one.

Where Syncora is the better fit

They are the cheapest way in at $6.99, and for a store with a couple of hundred products and modest order flow that may be all the backup it needs. Fourteen reviews is a young product, not a bad one - everyone starts there, including us.

Where we differ

The ceilings are the practical difference: at 2,000 products their top plan runs out, and ours does not start counting until 10,000. Beyond that, StoreVault proves its backups on a schedule and emails the receipt, plans every restore before writing anything, and can undo one afterwards.

What both of us do the same way

Everything is encrypted, everything is versioned, and neither of us can bring an order or a customer back into your store - Shopify's API does not allow it, whatever any backup app calls it. Ask that question of every option you are looking at.
