As of 2 August 2026 their listing prices Tiny at $11/month with "150 order & 1,500 product backups", Medium at $17/month with "300 order & 3,000 product backups" and Large at $33/month with "600 order & 6,000 product backups", plus a free plan with "Up to 50 product backups" and one month of history. They hold 5.0 stars across 53 reviews.

Two ceilings instead of one: products and orders. StoreVault counts products only - $9/month up to 1,000, $19/month up to 10,000, $39/month with no limit - so a store selling a lot from a small catalogue is not pushed up a tier by a good month.

Where TinyBackup is the better fit

Their entry price is lower than ours, and their free plan keeps a month of history where ours keeps seven days. For a small store that wants the cheapest real backup, that is a fair reason to pick them, and 5.0 stars across 53 reviews is not an accident.

Where we differ

StoreVault re-reads its own stored copies on a schedule and emails the verdict either way, so a backup that stopped working announces itself. Restores are approved as a plan, record by record, and can be undone afterwards. Stock levels come back per location with a before-and-after list, and Shopify refuses any line that moved while you were reading it.

What both of us do the same way

Everything is encrypted, everything is versioned, and neither of us can bring an order or a customer back into your store - Shopify's API does not allow it, whatever any backup app calls it. Ask that question of every option you are looking at.
